RYT 500, CPT, Sports Nutritionist, Core Barre Certified
Charlotte Fountain, certified sports nutritionist and personal trainer has decided to follow her passion for yoga and become RYT certified through the Yoga Alliance. Charlotte has over 5 years of experience in the fitness industry as a gym owner and specializes in weight loss and nutrition. She completed her RYT 500 hour at Essential Yoga in Springfield, MO under the guidance of Shari McCubbins & Bill Lynch. Her training focus was power vinyasa flow, and she loves working with prenatal clients. Her passions are her 3 beautiful children, animals, serving others, serving God, competing in figure competitions, and practicing yoga. She decided to follow her dream of opening The Melting Spot when a Christian friend prophesied that she would lead many to a balance of Mind, Body, & Soul unity. "One of the greatest moments as a yoga instructor is leaving people feeling refreshed and whole again. Yoga brings us all back to our true self. The person that we were always intended to be.

Core Barre Certified Instructor
Sue Moore completed her RYT training with LifePower Yoga and has been teaching yoga since 2007. She is also a certified fitness trainer, certified group fitness instructor, and indoor cycling instructor,. She has extensive knowledge in senior yoga and prenatal yoga. Sue recently completed her RYT 300 at The Melting Spot in our Power Vinyasa Teacher Training Program. Upon completion, she earned her RYT500. Sue also completed a Core Barre Certification Program under Shauna Smith of The BodySmith here at The Melting Spot.

Mike is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor in training at The Melting Spot. He has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2008 when he graduated from Meridian Technology Center's Certified Massage Program in Stillwater, OK. Mike has been practicing yoga since joining The Melting Spot family in 2014. He served 6 years in the Marine Corps Reserve while attending Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Bachlors Degree in Sociology.
Mike is an avid endurance runner, completing one Marathon, 12 Half Marathons and countless 5 and 10K runs around the area. He began practicing yoga as a way to rehab/recover from a running injury. "I find that regular yoga keeps me healthy and on the road more often." When not running or practicing yoga, Mike enjoys spending as much quality time with his family as possible.
My name is Chelsea Cody, and I have been practicing yoga for four years. I recently earned my Masters degree in counseling, and I am currently a therapist working with traumatized youth. I am incredibly passionate in my own practice about exploring the connection between mindfulness, the body, play, and P.T.S.D. I have always been active in sports, beginning with competitive soccer from a young age, and completing my soccer career on full athletic scholarship at Texas Christian University. I am currently finishing up my 200 RYT Power Vinyasa Certification with the Melting Spot, and I couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be apart of the Owasso yoga community. Yoga is my medicine. Yoga is the first thing I do in the morning, and it's the sanctuary I return to throughout my day. With the help of incredible teachers, I’ve fallen head first into a devotion for the practice, and it’s truly changed my life. I am ecstatic for the opportunity to share my passion for mindful movement with others, and I hope to inspire others to play, learn, and grow along with me. In class I like to focus on combining physical challenge with mindful presence in the body; in that way we will work on cultivating a new relationship with our bodies, acceptance in the present, and balance on and off the mat.
Dean Montgomery started yoga as a way to relieve back pain and learned that yoga was a great workout that connects the body and breath and sharpens the sword. Yoga gives him the ability to continue to be physically active in life. Dean is an 18 year veteran of the Tulsa Police Department and enjoys his yoga workout and continues to grow in his practice, and looks forward to continue to grow in his yoga practice and encourages other to challenge themselves in their yoga practice and in life.
Garry Groom completed his RYT 200 through The Melting Spots Power Vinyasa Teacher Training program. He is passionate about teaching and learning all he can about the great effects yoga has on the mind and body.
“My name is Garry Groom and I have loved experiencing the effects Yoga has had on my life. I was an overweight desk jokey that only worked out a few times a week and never really got out of a physical and mental rut. I walked into The Melting Spot one day and took one class with Charlotte, after that I was hooked. I signed up for the Teacher Training program and have not looked back, and absolutely love this journey going forward. I am now passionate about teaching yoga to others and am always amazed at the effects it has after a great class. I will guide you through a Power Vinyasa class that has a little more energy than the norm. I love to get the music going and just feeling the energy in the room rise. Holly completed both her yoga teacher training and her barre training at The Melting Spot. Don't let her cute Alabama accent and sweet, bubbly personality fool you! Athough she loves to teach gentle flow classes, Holly can bring the fire in her vinyasa classes too!
"Five years ago, I had an artificial disc implanted in my back. I was in constant pain. The only solution the doctors provided was rest and medication. As a stay at home mom of three children, it did not allow me to be as productive as I needed to be. I needed to find an alternative; three years ago I found yoga! Ever since, my quality of life has been drastically improved, and my medication has been cut down to a bare minimum. Yoga has saved my life.
I believe yoga is a lifestyle, not just an exercise class. You need to practice yoga on and off the mat. Practicing yoga throughout your daily life can help soften your heart towards yourself and others. Yoga established an inner peace within myself that keeps me positive, energized, and compassionate in my day to day life."

Cassandra has been teaching Essentrics for 5 years and is also a RYT 200 Yoga certified instructor. As the only fully certified Essentrics instructor in Oklahoma, she brings a unique technique that no one else in the state offers. Cassandra comes from a very active background in athletics and kinesiology studies, enabling everyone from athletes to beginners to gain something from her classes. Join her for a full body workout focused on strengthening, stretching and re-balancing the body. Her goal is to help others feel strong in their bodies and have a fun, effective and safe workout.
"I came to yoga in search of a new hobby but instead found a new way to live. Yoga has strengthened my body while calming my mind. I feel so passionate about the positive influence yoga and the yoga community has done that I want to share it with others. That is the reason I decided to take my training further and to begin to teach and share with others!"
I grew up very active, participating in Gymnastics, Softball, Cheerleading, and Track. I am a wife and mother of 3. In my spare time, I would ride motorcycles, play softball, and enjoyed taking Bootcamp styles classes. These classes incorporated weight lifting, interval training, and running.
My yoga journey began after taking a few months off from the gym. However, I was looking for something less strenuous on my muscles and joints. I was introduced to Yoga at the Melting Spot. My first class was a Fire Flow Class and I loved it. The class was challenging, but afterwards I had an overwhelming feeling of relaxation. I tend to be very high energy, anxious, and somewhat scatter brained.
Yoga has taught me to breathe, relax, and live in the present. I love learning new postures, practicing inversions, and teaching others how to push themselves to try new things.
After practicing yoga for about 10 months and falling in love with the way it made me feel, I decided to become a yoga teacher. I will complete my RYT200 Power Vinyasa Training in June with The Melting Spot. Once certified, I would like to start teaching a few classes a week. I am currently a full time accountant and IFA Certified Group Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer and teach Bootcamp at the Melting Spot.
I enjoy many styles of yoga, but my favorites are Fire Flow and Power Vinyasa Style Classes. I am inspired by Bizzie Gold and love her energetic, tribal dance style of Power Yoga. In the near future, I would like to become Buti Yoga Certified as well as True Power Barre Certified.
My Ultimate Goal is to do what I am SO passionate about and share my yoga practice with others Full Time.Practicing Yoga keeps me centered, strong, mindful, and has given me a more positive outlook on my life. It is where I find my happy place and I strive to be a healthier me because of it.
Yoga means Union – The Union of Body, Mind, and Soul. I am passionate about sharing the benefits of a yoga practice with others and want to prove that it can be beneficial to everyone regardless of size, age, or gender.
